History-Why Lithuania?

In 2003 a church Mission Team felt the need to take part in a mission journey in another part of the world. One evening, Emily Hiatt and Libby Myers, who were head of their church mission team, took a look at a  packet filled with mission trips all over the world. That evening a paper about Lithuania fell out onto the floor; they looked at it and stuck it back into the file because they had never heard of Lithuania. The form fell out two more times that evening, and on the third time, they looked up Lithuania on the computer. The first thing they saw and heard were the children of Lithuania singing; as they listened, they began to cry, and both looked at each other and said, “I know where I am going.” The following summer Libby and Emily, and three other gentlemen from their church joined a conference team to Birzai, Lithuania. They fell in love, not just with the people, but more in love with Jesus Christ.
